Hello and welcome!

Growing up, photography was a family passion. My first camera was a Brownie, and an album of square, somewhat faded, black and white photographs chronicling summer camp, field trips and other childhood adventures still sits on my bookshelf.

In the early 1990s, I began creating digital art from my scanned slides using the first versions of Photoshop. Since then my studio has evolved to an all-digital workflow with Nikon cameras and a fleet of Mac computers and displays.

My husband and I own and operate our own stock photography company, Garden Photo World, supplying garden, flower and plant images to horticultural publications worldwide.

We are fortunate to live and work on a beautiful wooded property just north of Seattle, called Hillhaven. It is a dream outdoor studio, with woodland, rose, perennial and bulb gardens, surrounding by sheltering evergreens.

We travel extensively but are always happiest coming home to the trees and birds of Hillhaven. Dedicated to organic gardening practices, we are very proud that Hillhaven has been certified as a Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.

In addition to photographing flowers and gardens, I love creating digital images that bring a bit of magic and wonder into the everyday.
